The
Durango Area: I have lived
in Colorado since 1972 and within this state Durango truly is
my sweet home. Having lived here since 1990 I have roamed
all over the area and I never seem to tire of it because of its
tremendous diversity. There is something for everyone from
rolling high desert plains of pinon and juniper with cattle and
horse ranches to rising red cliffs of tall pines and aspen with
deep, wide river valleys below.
We are bordered to the north by millions of acres of National
Forest and to the far south by Southern Ute lands.
Weather: Our weather tends to come
out of the southwest across the desert keeping us warm and temperate
compared to the rest of the state.
Activities: We are well located for you to take an occasional
get away to places like Santa Fe, Flagstaff, Phoenix, Albuquerque,
Denver and Salt Lake City. However, there is so much to do right
here that you may never find yourself with nothing to do.
Durango Mountain Resort is only 15 minutes away for skiing in the
winter and hiking in the summer. Town always seems to have
something going on, too.
My Experience: Because we are a small community I have
had the opportunity to acquire experience in all aspects of Real
Estate from ranch, land and home sales, income property, 1031 tax
